This is the result of an illustration assignment about connecting. There was no other requirement. We were just instructed to make something that portrayed connection. So I chose a song from my favorite band, Neutral Milk Hotel. The specific lyrics from "In the Aeorplane Over the Sea" were, "Anna's ghost all around, hear her voice as it's rolling and ringing through me, soft and sweet, how the notes all bend and reach above the trees"
Lindsey, I'm still amazed that you were able to do this all in Illustrator! It's really colorful, and it has a very interesting source of inspiration.
