Corpse Bride Inspired Characters!

It's been a while since I have posted my artwork and I am an awful artist for it!  To make up for it, here are 3 cooky characters to brighten up your day.  The style is inspired by The Corpse Bride, which I have yet to see...Horrible...Again...

A Midsummer Night's Dream, Puck's Flower

This is a photo collage done on Photoshop.  It represents the tree which breeds the purple cupid flower that Puck is instructed to go fetch.  Inside the nest lives the glowing purple flower, as the hanging yellow seeds around it wait to fall from the tree to begin transforming into a cupid flower of their own.

Buzz Aldrin...I mean Lightyear...I mean Aldrin!

Buzz Aldrin participated in the first moon landing.  It's appropriate that our beloved Buzz Lightyear was inspired by this American hero.  And because Aldrin embraces the entertainment industry in whatever it wants to do with his story, here, I present a Buzz Aldrin caricature poster.

In the Aeroplane Over the Sea

This is the result of an illustration assignment about connecting.  There was no other requirement.  We were just instructed to make something that portrayed connection.  So I chose a song from my favorite band, Neutral Milk Hotel.  The specific lyrics from "In the Aeorplane Over the Sea" were, "Anna's ghost all around, hear her voice as it's rolling and ringing through me, soft and sweet, how the notes all bend and reach above the trees"
